Signing in and out Procedure

  1. Exeat weekends occur only in first and second term. Over these weekends all boarders are to go home for the weekend. No one may remain in hostel.
  2. Pupils may be signed out on weekends provided that the child does not have a school or sporting commitment that weekend.
  3. Travel and signing out arrangements are not done over the phone. It is the sole responsibility of the parents to make all necessary arrangements for their child/children beforehand. The school must be informed in writing with a signature by the parent or authorised guardian at least 3 days prior to travel in cases where :
    1. The child is signing himself/ herself out or if they are traveling by bus
    2. The person coming to pick up the child is not on his/her signing out list
    3. The child is being picked up outside of the stipulated times
  4. Signing in and out of pupils is supervised by the Hostel Administrator, only within specified hours.
  5. The signing out period is ONLY on Fridays from 1.15pm to 3.15pm except for exeat and end of term days.
  6. For exeat weekends and when returning from school holiday, boarders will be expected to be signed in from 12 noon and 5 pm.
  7. Only those people authorised in advance by parents or who are on the pupil’s signing in and out list maybe allowed to sign students out.
  8. Boarders signing in on Sunday must have done so by 5pm. Boarders signing in on Monday are required to do so between 6.30am and 7.00am. Please take note that if you arrive after 7:00am you will not be allowed through to the Hostel and will be referred to the Administration Block.
  9. Pupils have to be in their uniform for signing in and out and during their travel.
