Dear Parents and Guardians,

Consolidating Second Term: A reminder to those of you who have not yet accessed your child’s reports through the Senatical Portal to please do so. Spend time with your child going through their report and agree on strategies to ensure that this holiday is well used with a balance of work and a break. Public examinations are written by all Form 2, Form 4, Lower 6 and Upper 6 pupils next term, with examinations starting in the 4th week of term. Check your child’s Statement of Entry which they have to see their specific timetable.

We also urge you to connect with your child about their personal development, and issues such as friendships and relationships and their impact on them. Spend time cultivating healthy habits and boundaries with them that they believe in and are committed to so that they can ‘stand on their own’. Whilst academic success is key, the development of your whole child is vital and you as a parent have a critical role to play and we urge you to be deliberate in this.

Alumni Visit: We were delighted to have Wayne Banda – Class of 2015 – return to visit us. Currently in his final year of Mechanical Aerospace Engineering in Australia, he gave some meaningful and honest insights to our pupils. We encourage you to specifically engage your child about what they remember and what they can have learnt from what he shared during his assembly.

Congratulations: To Joshua Nyamutora, Elizabeth Msipa, Ngonidzashe Mareverwa, Leeroy Tapfumaneyi, Anodiwa Ncube and Edmos Dube-Mabeza who were called upon to take part in athletics at the Youth Games currently underway in Gweru. Results so far:
