Newsflash 14/6/18

Dear Parents and Guardians, 

End of Term –

  • Thursday 26 July – Term ends at 1pm  for Form 1, 2 & 3 pupils.
  • Friday 27 July – Consultation for all Form 4, L6 & U6 pupils after which time they may leave for the holidays.
  • Third term will now start on Tuesday 4 September.
  • Revision Holiday School for public examination candidates from Form 3 to Upper 6 will take place from 15 – 28 August.  


Parents Assembly Fundraising Dinner – Will take place at The Rainbow Towers in Harare on Friday 22 June (the Friday of exeat weekend) This dinner is in aid of raising funds for the construction of the Resource Centre and is a family event. Note that the fee for students/children is reduced to $35. Payments for tickets should be made into the usual school accounts – referenced PAC Dinner. Please send through the proof of payment to and  Arrangements will then be made with you for ticket distribution. 

Parents Assembly Fundraising Dinner Appeal – The PAC are appealing to you to assist with donations of items which can be used as spot prizes and for the auction at next week’s dinner. Please liaise with Mrs Tombindo on 0774 430 869, Mrs Chard on 0776 089 598, any other PAC member (see attached list) or with the school directly. 


Exeat Weekend – Starts at 1pm on Thursday 21 June. Lessons resume on Tuesday 26 June. Please note that boarders returning to hostel may only do so from 12noon on Monday 25 June. Those who arrive before this time will be required to wait at main gate until 12noon. Thank you for your cooperation in this area. 


Exeat Weekend Buses – The following services will be available – 

  1. Harare Bus – $40 return ($20 one way)
  2. Bulawayo – Hwange – Victoria Falls Bus 
  3. Lowveld Bus via Masvingo

Payments for the Harare bus need to be done by Friday 15 June, and by Monday 18 June for the other two routes – reference the payment “Exeat bus” and send through proof of payment to both and Confirmation of a booking must be received from
