Dear Parents and Guardians,

Condolences: As indicated via email, we mourn with the Sibanda family on the tragic passing on of our Eagle, Munashe Sibanda. Your prayers and support for the family are appreciated. Those wishing to contribute financially may do so using the details for Munashe’s mother. Please contact us for them. 

Global Leadership Summit: Tomorrow and Saturday all of our pupils and staff will be involved in the Global Leadership Summit. A reminder that this is a compulsory event for all Form 1, 2, 3 and Lower 6 pupils. Pupils report to school as normal on Friday 18 November. Day Scholars will be given lunch on this day and are to be collected at 4pm. Pupils are to be at school at 8:10am on Saturday 19 November. Day Scholars are to be collected at 14:50pm. Day scholars will have lunches and tea break provided on this day. 

Consultation Day – Form 1, 2 & 3: Consultation will take place on Wednesday 7 December between 8am & 1pm on this day. Parental attendance is expected. Boarders are free to leave for the holidays after you have finished your child’s consultation. 

Form 2 Forum: This crucial and compulsory meeting for all Form 2 parents and pupils will take place on Wednesday 7 December at 10am at school. 

Parenting Series: Tonight is the last, but a very important session: “Intentional Christ-Centred Culture”. We encourage our Harare-based parents to go along for this session at Gateway Primary School Hall 6pm – 7:15pm.

Celebrate With Us: A team of our swimmers competed in the Midlands Champs recently. They amassed 19 gold medals, 9 silver medals and 10 bronze medals. Congratulations to the following who have been selected in to the Midlands Swimming Team: T. Mubata, A. Mubata, N. Mbizo, A. Joseph, N. Horovi, S. Mathonsi, K. Banda, Z. Mashava, S. Dondo and V. Chiremba. We wish the team all the best as they embark on their specialised training programme to prepare them for some national events next year. Below is some of the swimmers who took part in the competition.
