Newsflash 18/3/19

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Cyclone Idai Appeal: Join us in giving support to those families being affected by the cyclone. This is an appeal for aid in cash or kind – we will be collecting items this week to go towards this cause. Donations of clothing items, shoes, diapers, medical supplies, blankets and non-perishable foods are sought. Items can be dropped off through the Front Office. Any direct queries please liaise with Miss Ndhlela – Director Hostel and Counselling –

Interhouse Athletics: As per the text message sent out earlier today, our Interhouse Athletics programme will take place tomorrow starting at 8:30am. The invitation is still open to parents to come along and enjoy the competition. Unfortunately we could not put it on Saturday as our athletes need time to rest ahead of next week’s national athletics programme.

National Athletics: Next week we will be the host venue for the NAPH and NASH National Athletics competitions. The competitions will be held over three days – 26 – 28 March. This is a big and an important competition, and we invite you to come along and spectate.

Hearty Congratulations: To Elizabeth Msipa and Wadiwanashe Musonza who competed in the Puma School of Speed South African Championships last week. Elizabeth won the bronze medal in the 200m event, and the silver medal in the 100m event. Wadiwanashe won the gold medal in the 400m event. We are very proud of their sporting achievement.
