Newsflash 21/7/22

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Pupil Development Programmes: Thank you to you as parents for the support you give to us as we endeavour to develop your children. The Form 2s had a fun and active outing to Jabulani Safari’s on Monday and the Lower 6s are being challenged and developed at their Leadership camp. Our Form 1s have been receiving some valuable input from the Undiluted Team around sexual purity, education on reproductive health issues, as well as some great input from a clinical psychologist about anxiety, emotions, body shaming and peer pressure. We pray that the valuable seeds sown during these times take deep root and positively impact your children.

Lower 6 Camp: Pupils return tomorrow. Note that there is compulsory afternoon sports support on this day so day scholars may be collected at 3:30pm.

Compulsory Sports Support: For all pupils 2pm – 3:30pm Friday 22 July for the girls hockey fixture with Watershed.

U13 Soccer IPTs: We welcome the U13 Provincial Soccer Teams to campus tomorrow for the junior schools IPTs. “Go Midlands”

Form 4 Parents Forum: We ask all Form 4 parents to join us at 11am on Thursday 4 August in the school hall for this important meeting. More details to follow.

End of Term Consultation:  Will take place for all Form 4, Lower 6 and Upper 6 pupils on Thursday 4 August between 8am and 1pm in the high school classrooms. Parental attendance is expected. More details to follow.

End of Term Arrangements: Term 2 ends on Thursday 4 August. Form 1, 2 and 3 boarders may be collected from school between 8am and 1pm on this day. Day scholars for these forms are not expected at school on 4 August. Form 4, Lower 6s and Upper 6s are to leave for the holidays on completion of Consultation with teachers. Please note that all pupils are to be collected by 1pm on Thursday 4 August. We also ask that you respect the end of term programme and do not ask for early release of pupils.

London College of Music Examinations: We welcome this examination board into Zimbabwe and are thrilled that pupils can be examined in both practical and theory aspects of music! We congratulate the pupils who took the first practical examinations last week.
