Athletics vs Gateway:
Will take place on Saturday 24 March. Please note that this is a compulsory event for all pupils. Pupils are to be at school at 9am and should be collected at 5:30pm. Parents are encouraged to come along and support. A reminder that house points are awarded to your child’s house for attendance of such events.
Honours Challenge Cup:
Following their outstanding vocal performances in the NIAA Eisteddfod, Anne-Marie Macklenin, Charlotte Magiya and Lisa Muchenurwa have been invited to sing in the NIAA Vocal Challenge this evening at 6:30pm at Harare International School. Supporters are welcome. We wish these ladies all the best as they compete for the cup.
National Athletics:
We wish our Eagles, Michael Muchirahondo and Tinotenda Shone, all the very best as they compete for the Midlands Province at the National Athletics Competitions at Peterhouse today and tomorrow.
End of Term Arrangements:
Mon 27/3 – Day Scholars are to be collected at 1pm.
Tues 28/3 – Day Scholars are to be collected at 1pm. Form 2, 3 and Lower 6 pupils are free to leave for the holidays.
Wed 29/3 – Consultation Day for all Forms 1, 4 and Upper 6 pupils between 8am and 1pm in the school hall.
End of Term Bus:
Please note that an end of term bus to Harare on Wednesday 29 March is available for Forms 2, 3 and Lower 6 pupils not involved in Consultation. Tickets are USD40 each and seats are secured on a first come-first paid basis. Note that payments need to indicate name of child and that it is for End of Term Bus with a copy of payment being sent to reception@mcc.ac.zw and bursar@mcc.ac.zw in order for us to send you confirmation of your child’s booking.
Note that for those based in Bulawayo – Hwange – Victoria Falls – a bus service can be offered dependent on viable numbers. Please indicate your interest to Mrs Machipisa – the area coordinator on 0772372801 by end of day today.
Holiday Examination Preparation Support:
A reminder that we are offering our ‘O’ and ‘AS’ May-June candidates an intensive revision programme from 16-28 April. Please refer to the separate communication sent prior and complete and return the response slip by Friday 31 March. May-June examinations commence 25 April.
Rugby Tour:
Our Rugby 10s team will be leaving for Zambia on Thursday 30 March for their tour. We wish them all the best as they go!
