Parents’ Meeting

A reminder about tonight’s meeting with regards to an update from the PAC on Term 3 fees. Please make use of the Google Meet link below. Note that this meeting is for Midlands Christian College parents only.

Exams Update – 

Statements of Entry – For Cambridge examinations have been issued to pupils. Parents can expect their emailed copy soon. Statements of Entry for ZIMSEC examinations are not yet available but will be issued along with the timetable in due course.

Orals – For ‘O’ Level French and English will take place during the course of next week.

Tuesday 13/10 – Mathematics

Wednesday 14/10 – English

Thursday 15/10 – Science

ABRSM Update: Please be advised that the examination session that had been scheduled for October has been cancelled. Candidates who had registered will now sit for these exams in March 2021. Registration period will be from 3 January to 10 January 2021 for those that missed the earlier window.

MCC ‘Parents Who Pray’ Weekly Meeting –

Collet Smart’s presentation for parents – “Thriving in Parenting and Schooling at Home” is a must watch. Register on the ACSI Zimbabwe website to access this material. For the pupil seminar, encourage your child to register for this upcoming one at the ACSI Zimbabwe website.

Library Books –

We are working to introduce some new reading material in our school library and ask that all pupils try to bring at least two books to contribute towards the library. The books can be reasonable quality second hand, or new, books whose content is appropriate for our teenage readership. Books can be surrendered directly to the Librarian.
