Newsflash 24/1/19

Dear Parents and Guardians, 

Senatical Parents Portal – Log In Details for New Parents: Will be sent to you in due course. The first assessment results should be ready for viewing on 18 February. 

Exeat Weekend Arrangements: This year, Exeat weekend is inclusive of Youth Day so will start at 1pm on Wednesday 20 February. Note that the Parents Assembly AGM is scheduled to take place at 11am on this day. All parents are encouraged to attend this meeting. Official notice will be sent in due course. 

Lessons resume on Tuesday 26 February. All boarders are expected to go home for this weekend. Some pupils may be involved in national tennis, swimming and cricket trials over that weekend. Once selections at provincial level is done, further communications will be sent out pertaining to this. 

Exeat Weekend Bus: Should be available for those who are unable to travel for the Parents Assembly AGM – specifically for the Harare route. Costs will be confirmed in due course. 

Those wishing to register interest for a Bulawayo – Hwange – Victoria Falls (return) bus service and those who would want a Masvingo – Triangle (return) bus service are to please register their interest and destination on admin@mcc.ac.zw by 7 February in order for a decision to be made about viability and costs to be established. Costs for those two routes will be calculated once numbers are known.

Please note that in all cases, this service is subject to confirmation. 

Form 1 Camp: Join us in praying that our Form 1s who are currently on camp in Victoria Falls will have a meaningful and fun time in getting to know each other and our College better. Campers should be back at 2:30pm on Sunday 27 January.

  • Cricket Jnr, Intermediate & Senior Team vs Kwekwe High @ home – 8:30am – Fixture TBC
