Newsflash 7/6/23

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Celebrate with Us – Sean Mandaza and Paul Mutsaka were selected as reserves for the Zimbabwe schools U16 and U18 boys hockey teams respectively. 

CongratulationsTo the following ladies who were selected into the Central Province U20 Girls Basketball team that will be taking part in ATS national selections this coming weekend. We wish them all the best!

CIE Examinations – The last few examinations for the May-June session are being completed today and tomorrow. 

Registration is currently underway for the October-November sessions. A reminder that the deadline for registration and payment for CIE October-November examinations is 30 June 2023. If you have not received a scanned copy of your child’s registration form please contact our Exams Department –

Please note that for subjects written in this 2023 May-June examination session, registration will take place after publication of results (10 August – AS-A2 results; 16 August – IGCSE results)

Mid-Year Examinations Will take place for all pupils from 3 – 14 July. A copy of the examination timetable will be sent to you in due course. Please continue to encourage your children in their academic pursuits, and ask them how they are doing in their revision, encouraging them to be accountable and disciplined in this.

Punctuality Reminder Note that day scholars are to be at school by 7:05am at the latest Monday to Friday. 

Signing Out Procedures – Please be reminded that any boarder signing out request is to be done by way of a signed letter submitted to the school on by end of day Wednesday of the week you are requesting your child to be signed out. Please note that unless it is an emergency, we will not be able to facilitate requests received after the time. 

Mid-Term Fixture Free – 17 June – Please note that our hostel will be closed this weekend so all boarders are to be signed out for the weekend. School buses are available to assist with transport for this weekend. For those wishing to use the Harare service, the cost is USD55 return. Drop-offs and collections in Kwekwe ($30 return), Kadoma & Chegutu ($40 return) and Norton ($55 return) are possible by arrangement. Please reference your payment “Bus” and your child’s name. Copy of the payment is to be sent to and Viable numbers need to be met in order to confirm these services. Payment deadline 9 June. Confirmation of bookings will be sent to the individuals involved by end of day Monday 12 June. 

Lower 6 Camp Update All is going well on camp with campers getting input into matters around leadership and with them being challenged to develop themselves further in this area. We expect their bus to be back at 4pm on Friday 9 June. 

Upper 6 Geography Trip – A reminder that payments for this trip are due 26 June. Thank you to those who have already paid.  

Fm 4 Geography TripA reminder that payments for the Form 4 Geography Trip are due 7 July 2023. Thank you to those who have already paid.
