Dear Parents and Guardians,
Allied Arts Vocal and Instrumental Festival: What a fantastic two days of music on Monday and Tuesday this week with an impressive show of talent from pupils from all around Gweru, Kwekwe, Masvingo, Zvishavane and Bulawayo as we hosted a portion of this year’s National Institute of the Allied Arts Vocal and Instrumental Eisteddfod. Our Eagles also did us very proud scooping 13 Honours Grades, 10 First Plus Grades, 1 First Grade and 4 Second Plus Grades! Please see the attached detailed results list.
Interhouse Cross Country: Will take place tomorrow at 2pm. If you are able, please join us to cheer our Eagles on.
University Representatives Visit:
On Monday 13/3 between 8am and 10am in our school hall we shall be hosting university representatives from 10 universities from Australia, South Africa, UK and Netherlands. This visit is coordinated by Macpherson Education Services who consistently facilitates placement for our pupils. All Upper 6 and Lower 6 pupils will have opportunity to interact with them. Parents are also invited to come along and meet with the representatives during this time as well. A reminder that our Careers Officer is available to you to discuss options and opportunities for your child at any stage – please contact Mrs Dzikiti on careers@mcc.ac.zw
Grade 6 & Grade 7 Open Day: The invitation is open for prospective pupils and parents to join us for our next Open Day on Saturday 18 March at 9am. We understand the disruption that Cyclone Freddy caused to previous travel arrangements. We ask that you please circulate the attached flier to your friends, colleagues and social circles.
One Week Leadership Course – Dubai Trip (Form 1s, 2s & 3s): A reminder that the deadline for the commitment/admin fee for this trip is Friday 10 March.
