Welcome back to our Eagles!
We are grateful to the Lord for hearing our prayers and allowing conditions to have our Eagles back with us physically. We also understand that it is with great effort from our parents that they are here and continue to thank you for the support you give us. As we embark on the “Year of Re-Establishing our Identity in Christ” we look forward to continued collaboration and would like to assure you that we are committed to doing our best to provide the service to our MCC family. Always know that you are welcome to communicate with us and we have an open door policy for our entire community.
Reminders for day scholars:
We would like to remind our day scholars of the drop off and pick up times:
By 7:20am for drop offs
From 5pm for pick ups
We are also reminding our day scholar pupils and parents to be diligent with adhering to the COVID-19 protocols to ensure our collective safety. Remember to complete the Daily Symptoms and Exposure checklist. The parent’s signature needs to be present on the form. As always you will have your temperature checked and will be sanitised upon arrival at school.
Sports:
A reminder that our sports programme starts today. We are looking forward to an exciting season. Athletics, cross country, swimming and boys cricket are compulsory this term. We hope you will support us in keeping our Eagles fit and active this term.
Stewards Camp
The stewards camp will be taking place from Monday 14 February until Thursday 17 February at Jabulani Safaris. We hope this will give them an opportunity to bond as the student leadership body as well as teach them about servant leadership.

The agenda includes reports from both the PAC Chairman and the school Head on activities of the past year, plans for the future and decisions on projects. Parent attendance of these meetings is important, and you are reminded that decisions made in these meetings are binding for the parent body.
Examinaitions:
CIE registration deadline was the 4th of February 2022. Parents are to expect confirmed statements of entry by end of day Monday 14 February 2022.
Collection of certificates is an ongoing process. This can be done during normal office hours.
HSK deadline for those who received registration forms for the March exam is Tuesday 22 February. This deadline is for return of forms as well as payment.
