“Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Speech Day: Thank you to all those who joined us for this this year’s Speech and Prize Giving Day. We count it a privilege to have had you with us and do not take for granted the sacrifices made in order to do so. We ask that you spare a few moments to complete the short survey of the event which will be coming out tomorrow. Your feedback will assist us with future planning.

We would also like to thank those who offered support through sponsorship and donations towards the day.

Cambridge Examinations: Have started today. Lower 6 and Upper 6 are now all officially on SWOT leave, with Form 4s starting their SWOT leave on Monday 8 October.

During this time pupils will be able to consult with their teachers during their usual timetabled lesson times, or will be able to revise under supervision. If a day scholar is coming to school, they should come in uniform and should be at school by 7:20am and may only leave between 1-2pm and after 3:30pm without needing a gate pass. Candidates are also free to go home at the end of their examination.

Statement on video doing the rounds: On Friday 28 September 2018 a group of 6th form hostel pupils engaged in some rowdy behaviour including assaulting a fellow student in a horseplay celebration of the victim’s birthday on Friday 28 September.

Medical examination of the victim has shown no serious injury was sustained.

The school rules forbid such kind of behaviour.

Initial investigation revealed that such similar low key type of horseplay by the boys had been witnessed before,  the victim admits that the dimension of assault this time was excessive and went overboard.

The college will be instituting appropriate disciplinary action against the perpetrators of this outrageous , misguided and dangerous behaviour. Every action is being taken to ensure that no recurrence of such behaviour will take place.

Upcoming Events:

Tue 2/10

  • Junior Boys Gala at Falcon – 2pm

Reflection “But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” Matthew 6:6 (NIV)
