The Prince of Peace Said

JESUS – THE PRINCE OF PEACE said, “Peace I leave with you, My Peace I give to you, not as the world gives do l give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14v27

DO NOT LET your heart be troubled or afraid …. but rather “… LET THE PEACE OF GOD RULE IN YOUR HEARTS” Colossians 3 v15.

The world defines peace as the absence of conflict or stress. Unfortunately, our world today is full of conflict and stress. Life can often feel so chaotic. Juggling a stressful job, a number of relationships, financial woes, and a host of other demands can sometimes be just too much. It’s no surprise that we find ourselves internally screaming and begging for a moment of peace.

But the Peace of God is a Fruit of the Holy Spirit (our Helper, John 14 v16, 26) and a gift from Jesus .. “My Peace I give you ..” – a Peace that passes all understanding!

Jesus said “I will not leave you as orphans; (a child with no parents to love and care) I WILL COME TO YOU.”

“Agree with God, and be at peace; thereby good will come to you. Receive instruction from his mouth, and lay up his words in your heart.” Job 22:21-22

“In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.” Psalm 4:8

“Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble.” Psalm 119:165

The message of these Bible verses is pretty simple: slow down, take a deep breath, open yourself to the presence of God, and He will reward you with the peace you seek. Go further, and strive for peace in all your interactions with the world, and your peace will be multiplied, even as you’re fulfilling the wishes of Jesus, who declared, “Blessed are the peacemakers.” Spend some time with these Bible verses about peace—they point the way to the serenity we all need so desperately in these hectic days.

“Thank you Father for your Parental Presence, Provision and Protection. Because You are my Father I am at Peace .. I receive it right now in Jesus Wonderful Name.” Amen
